What a delightfully funny and honest book! Hearing the story from Drew’s point of view, and how his reasoning works was so remarkably refreshing from the sulking girl norm.
I especially like that the book started with the sulky drew, and then went on to tell the story to how he got there. He’s so refreshingly funny, competitive, a real guy’s guy, that I had bouts of tummy aching laughter at Drew and Kate’s antics at the office. The books conclusion was an unexpected turn of events, an just added more charm to the book. Well done Emma, I think I’ll stick around for more of your stories, for sure!

Tension. Frustration, Terror.
I have been following this series since Karina published the first book (Darkhouse), and loved the second one Red Fox too. But by Dead sky I was ready to explode with frustration, with all the (sexual) tension between Dex and Perry (well, she thinks so anyway) :). I wish it would go into the direction I want, but as usual we are not in control. Each book surprises with very exiting and spooky, but it also reveals more and more about Dex and Perry, and the people in their lives. I want to shout to Parry to grow up already, and for Dex to grow a pair!!! But all these feelings rolling around in me just means that I will probably follow this series until the very last book. (I have the next 3 lined up already) 🙂
Well done Karina, I love all your books.
