Me before you by Jojo Moyes – Heart wrenchingly Beautiful.
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book has definitely reached my top 5 for 2013/2013. It talks about a very delicate subject namely assisted suicide. We follow a happy go lucky Scottish girl who never stops talking, who supports her family in the time of depression, and loses her job at the bakery that closes down. She finds a new job as a care giver to a paraplegic man.
She is a quirky girl who will not let anything get her down as seen by her reactions to the many obstacles will (her ward) puts in her way in her daily care of him. We follow their story to the conclusion of what Will is willing to live with and without. This story will forever stay in my heart, it touched my soul in a way few books ever did, and it was the same for allot of other readers as seen by the many, many good reviews. if there is only one book you read this year, this is it.
